During Autumn 2022, EKFB will becarrying out highway safety improvement works on behalf of HS2 to the School Hill and Main Street Junction and beginning construction on the permanent realignment of Gawcott Road, also known as Perry Hill.
The safety improvement works being carried out to the School Hill / Main Street Junction consist of alterations to footpaths, the provision of barrier fencing and installation of a pedestrian crossing. These works are due to begin in early October.
During this period, there will be temporary traffic management in the form of a lane closure with traffic lightson the section of road between Charndon and Twyford as well asa full road closure of a section of School Hill Road.
