The parish council is sharing the standard EKFB response to complaints about the temporary road closure and 4-way traffic lights on Gawcott Road.
We aren't happy with this response for several reasons:

1. Cotswolds Way was not closed to stop it being a rat-run. It was closed because EKFB refused to take liability for any damage due to unsuitability of the block-paved areas.

2. No reference to the traffic management on the Gawcott Road being purely mitigation for EKFB's own design failures

3. The initial traffic issues, were exacerbated by missing and incorrect signage being used.

4. A lack of empathy to the ongoing impact on our communities
