Remembrance Sunday 2025

Members of the Calvert Green community and parish council gathered today at the village hall, paying respects to the brave men and women who have fallen defending our freedom.

Our chairman Phil Gaskin read out some touching words remembering our brave service men and women, Deputy chair and Veteran Carl Blakeley laid a poppy wreath at the memorial garden in front of the newly placed remembrance cross.

Special thanks to Nigel Gibbon for playing the last post on the village green at 11:00 followed by a two minute silence.
